Vinyasa Flow level 1/2 with MonicaBuckley


For beginner to intermediate students. We will begin with warm up breathing exercises and move into sun salutations. Continuing with warriors, standing, and balancing postures. Then, we'll move to the floor for abdominal work and then to deep stretching, to access the deepest muscle and breath connections that we can. We will end with relaxation. Every class will be different as we explore both short term and long term goals. Strong focus on the breath and maintaining mind/body connection.

I recently moved from Northern California to Charlottesville, VA where I am learning the art of being Southern, biscuits and all. I practice some form of yoga/dance/movement every day. I believe that when I practice, I am changing my little corner of the world in that hour. Yoga healed a chronic back issue I had since childhood, and as I go further down this path I get stronger, healthier, and happier. So can you.

Experience

Nia White Belt certification March 2010 Yoga TT 200 hr. completed Spring 2011 I've been practicing yoga for 15 years. It's been a slow, steady, and amazing journey from barely being able to get through a class, to teaching advanced students! I have experience teaching Hot Yoga (26 posture series), Hot Flow, Power, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Kids Yoga.
